A relaxed start to the weekend
Saturday is our Pre-Show Hangout & Cruise — a deliberately informal and totally chilled start to the American Truck Nationals weekend.
While the traders are setting up for Sunday's main show, we open the show field to anyone who's already in the area and wants to come along, park up and hang out for the afternoon.
Whether you're travelling down for Sunday's show, staying locally or just fancy popping along for a chat, you're very welcome to join us.
There are no formal activities, no schedule to follow and no pressure — just cool Trucks, good people and a chance to relax and catch up before the main event.
SATURDAY HANGOUT
Trucks are welcome on the show field from around 11am onwards.
The pub will be open for food and drinks, within their normal opening hours, but the BBQ won't be running on Saturday.
Traders will also be arriving and setting up throughout the day, so don't expect everyone to be ready for business just yet.
Just come along, park up and hang out with us. Chew the fat, meet the team, check out the trucks and enjoy a relaxed afternoon with other people who share the same interest.
There's no real schedule and no pressure — it's simply a chance to relax and enjoy the atmosphere before Sunday's main show.
CRUISE NIGHT
Later in the afternoon, we'll be heading out for our Saturday Cruise.
The cruise was a real highlight last year, and we're looking forward to doing it again.
Exact timings & route will be confirmed closer to the event, but expect to head out in the late afternoon or early evening.
MAKE A WEEKEND OF IT
If you're travelling for Sunday's main show, why not come along on Saturday and make a weekend of it?
Come and hang out, meet some of the other truck owners, have some food and a drink at the pub, join us for the cruise and enjoy a relaxed start to the weekend.

What vehicles are welcome?
The American Truck Nationals is all about American-specification pickup trucks and vehicles based on American pickup-truck chassis.
Classic and modern trucks are welcome, including truck-based vehicles such as Chevrolet Blazers, Suburbans and similar models.
We don't accept ordinary American cars, SUVs or day vans that aren't based on a pickup-truck platform. The idea is to keep the show focused specifically on American trucks and truck-based vehicles.
Do i need to pre book or register?
No, there is no pre-booking or registration required. Simply turn up on the day.
Gates open at 9:30am.
Can i bring a Truck to advertise forsale?
Yes, of course. If your truck is road legal, simply drive it onto the show field and display your advert in the windscreen.
If the vehicle needs to be trailered onto the site, you will need to book a trader pitch large enough to accommodate both the vehicle and your trailer.
Can we attend as a Club or Group?
Absolutely. If you're planning to attend as a club or organised group and would like to park together, please get in touch with us in advance.
We can then allocate a suitable area for your group.
Is there Camping available on site?
Unfortunately, there is no camping available at the show venue.
If you're travelling from further away, there are a number of local hotels, B&Bs and campsites in the surrounding area.

Is there an entry fee?
Entry is free.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes, however they must be on a lead. Owners must make sure they are responsible regarding behaviour and cleaning up after them (bring poo bags!) Water is available on site.
What to expect
American Truck Nationals is gathering of cool classic and modern trucks, hundreds of us get together from all over the country.
Great people and a chilled atmosphere with fellow enthusiasts
Traders, line dancing, live band, trophies, americana raffle, huge BBQ and much much more.

Will I need to bring cash?
Yes most definitely, some traders may take card but don't assume so. The pub has card facilities but there is no ATM on site.
Where can visitors park?
Visitor parking is available in the Village Hall car park next to the show venue,
however spaces are very limited.
Disabled parking is available in the front car park next to the pub.
Please note: there is absolutely no visitor or disabled parking on the show field.
