ACCOMMODATION
American Truck Nationals does not offer public camping at the showground.
However, there are a number of campsites, touring parks, hotels and other accommodation options in the surrounding area.
Depending on where you are travelling from, some locations may be more convenient than others.
Visitors will generally approach the show from one of three main directions:
A12 from London & the South
A12 from the North / Woodbridge & Suffolk Coast
A14 from the West

A convenient option for visitors arriving via the A12 from London and the South.
A smaller camping and caravan site in a good location for reaching the Shotley Peninsula.
Approximately 15–20 minutes from the show venue.

A good option for visitors travelling via the A12 or A14 through the Ipswich area.
A small family-run campsite offering tent pitches, camping pods and other glamping accommodation.

Convenient for visitors arriving via the A14 from the west or travelling through the Ipswich area.

Although it is further from the show venue than some of the other sites, it can be a convenient option for visitors approaching from the west before reaching Ipswich.

Sutton Hoo Holidays Campsite
Woodbridge, Suffolk
Best suited to visitors arriving via the A12 from the north, Woodbridge or the Suffolk coast.
A family-run campsite offering pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes.
This is one of the further options from the venue but may be convenient depending on your direction of travel.
Approximately 35–40 minutes from the show venue.

The closest accommodation option to the show venue.
Located at Shotley Marina on the Shotley Peninsula, The Shipwreck Loft offers rooms overlooking the marina and estuary. It is an ideal option for visitors who want to stay close to the event.

Best suited to visitors arriving via the A12 from London and the South.
Located directly on the A12, this is a straightforward option for visitors travelling up from London or Essex and looking for somewhere convenient to stop before continuing towards Shotley.
